Our story

Youbs was born from two enthusiasts of technology and innovation, united by a single vision: turning ideas into concrete, high‑performing and accessible solutions.

It all began in 2011. We were sixteen and had just met at IT school. We quickly discovered a common way of working: curious, demanding and complementary. Sebastian has always been drawn to software design, architecture and technical research, while Benjamin first moved toward development, driven by a taste for problem‑solving, before expanding his skills to systems administration, infrastructure and security. Together, we learned to combine vision and execution, rigor and creativity.

Our paths then grew through multiple experiences: software development, applied research, systems integration, automation, cybersecurity, infrastructure management and technical leadership. This diversity allowed us to cover the entire technology lifecycle, from code to production.

Years later, we brought our skills together to co‑lead a technology department. We jointly drove innovation and strategy — Sebastian focusing more on development, and Benjamin on security, stability and integration. This complementarity became our natural way forward: balanced, pragmatic and results‑driven.

That’s how Youbs was born.
